The iPad and iPhone cases I love #case-mate #fanboy
I’m a big time Case-mate fanboy, truth be told. They make amazing products, they’re in Atlanta and several of my friends work there (this dude, this dude and this gal, to be specific). Plus they’re great marketers because they do out of the box (no pun intended) and creative campaigns. For instance, here’s a video of me unboxing their “recession” case in 2009. Still an awesome idea.
And when I really like a product, I feel compelled to blog about it and share the goodness. I love it when other bloggers write about products they use. For instance, here’s a great post on the iPad2 from my friend @Stammy. And if you’re interested, check out his thoughts on the Amazon Kindle Fire.
I’ve used Case-mate cases exclusively for several years now and I just got two new ones yesterday and couldn’t be happier with them. In fact, I believe they’re my favorite cases of all time.
It’s the iPad2 case that I’m really excited about. It’s called the iPad2 Tuxedo Case.
I’ve been looking for a good case that covers both the back and the front of the iPad2, hoping to find one that both looks good but is also slim and functional. The tilt of the stand function is also important (I think the Apple case you can buy has a terrible stand tilt, its too vertical when upright and too low when horizontal).
For the iPhone, I love the iPhone4S Barely There Brushed Aluminum cases they have and I picked up the black one yesterday. It’s fantastic. Slim, protective and looks very cool.
Well done, Case-mate.
Ahem… Jeff…
