48in48 Boston 2017 in Pictures

Another 48in48 in the books! Boston was so welcoming and passionate in helping us build 48 nonprofit websites in 48 hours, that we already can’t wait to come back next year! Well, after a little sleep…

Carole, Adam, and I at our 4th 48in48 event. Love this team, and major thanks to Delta Air Lines for their support in bringing us to the Boston area!

We were so honored to have Adrianne Haslet-Davis give the opening talk. She is a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing, and was 3rd in the world in ballroom dancing when the second bomb blew the bottom part of her left leg off. She’s an amazing individual and definitely set the right tone for the event!

Havas Media donated their office space for the weekend and it was KILLER!

And then people got to work building those 48 nonprofit websites :)

We were thrilled to have Dunkin’ Donuts sponsor the event! Along with Coca-Cola, these two great organizations kept our volunteers hydrated and (perhaps more importantly) caffeinated!

Every time I’m in Boston I’m blown away by how beautiful the city is. This is the view from the Hill Holiday (one of our great sponsors.)

My son and I were able to do some touring, including the epic Boston Duck Tour. We also walked the Freedom Trail and went on a few runs through Boston Common.

Sunday night our amazing judges came and chose the winning teams, but this truly is an event where everybody wins!

In the end, we did it! 48 nonprofit sites were built for the Boston community! Can’t wait to come back in 2018 :)

Congratulations!! How amazing…to pull this logistically off is simply mind blowing. I hope everyone got the deserved rest and a few hours away from any screen.
