Ideas are a dime a dozen. Getting things done – actually executing on your idea – that’s where the magic happens.
If you want to be successful at anything, especially at being an entrepreneur, you have to execute and work relentlessly. Your idea really doesn’t matter. It really doesn’t.
Hopefully, your idea is great. If its not, but you’re working your tail off, then you’ll figure out what needs to change with your idea and you’ll make it happen.
Zuck wasn’t the first person to think of a social network. He just did it better. Larry and Sergey didn’t invent the search engine. They just did it better.
Everyone has an idea. Or 12. Almost no one is willing, or able in some cases, to put in the work.
The idea isn’t the thing. Working hard is the thing.
