An inspiring example of following your passion

This week I was able to catch up with a friend of mine who is easily one of the most talented people I’ve worked with. Her name is Lynn and she was one of the creative directors at Engauge (still is) when I was there. I bet we pitched over 20 pieces of new business together, so we’ve been in the trenches together!

Lynn started a personal passion project back in January of 2013. Her dream was to produce a high-quality short film. She formed a team, ran a successful Kickstarter campaign and got to work. She recently finished her project and is submitting the film to festivals and events.

If you supported the Kickstarter then you know that the film is fantastic. What impressed me the most was that, while juggling a demanding job, she was able to lead a team on nights and weekends to make her dream a reality. So many times we let life get in the way of achieving greatness and I’m just so proud of my friend, Lynn.
