A new use for Evernote – store your greeting cards
I’m maybe the biggest Evernote fan out there. I have (and love) the Evernote Moleskine notebook. I use the Google Chrome Evernote app. I’ve blogged about Evernote dozens of times.
And yet, I keep finding new ways to use this amazing software! This morning I saw the pile of holiday cards on the desk in my cube* and I wanted to clean up my desk but I didn’t want to throw away those cards. It’s a dilemma I’ve always had and never been able to solve – what do you do with all those cards?!
And then it hit me. I can create a folder in Evernote and store them so I have them forever. And bonus, when I search for someone’s name to find something about them, maybe their contact information or notes on our last conversation, the card they gave me will also pop up.
