A simple exercise to help you be the kind of person you want to be (and don’t want to be)
Step 1.
Think about the person you admire most. Write down the qualities that person has that make you admire them.
Now do more of that.
Step 2.
Think about the person you dislike the most. Write down the qualities that person has that make you dislike them.
Now do less of that.
2017 is coming up fast. Make a plan to be the type of person you really want to be.
If you’re interested, here’s what I wrote down:
The person I admire most is extremely generous, makes their family the most important aspect of their life, is successful at what they put their mind to, is empathetic and kind and sees the bright side of life.
The person I dislike the most is deceptive, selfish, egotistical, lacks empathy of any kind, and values his own personal wealth and power above everything, and everyone, else.
