How will we be remembered in this digital age?

I often wonder how we’ll be remembered in this digital age, where more and more of us share our experiences on platforms like Facebook and Twitter instead of diaries/journals and actual printed photo albums.

Recently my wife and I took our four-year old on a trip to Chattanooga, TN, and of course we took a ton of video and photos, sharing a bunch on Facebook and emailing/texting photos to our family members. A few weeks after we got back, my wife handed me a printed photo album of our trip that she had created. As our family huddled around flipping through that book, I realized that not everything is better in a digital format.

But most things still are :)

I’ve actually thought about this very thing more than once. There are some avenues I’ve thought about using to organize my digital life memories, blogs etc. I remember going to my grandmother’s house and seeing all these old books and photos from when my dad was a kid and thinking that was cool. I’ve always tried to think how my kids would do the same thing – digitally. Kind of hard to wrap my head around
