It’s cool, but it would definitely startle the hell out of people unless this thing were really slow moving – and who wants that? Must be fast. Thus, it would never work unless you remove human manual control of vehicles from the equation. Keeping people calm is apparently a real issue that transportation designers (working on future concepts) are having to take into consideration – especially with the idea of network controlled, high speed vehicles.

Great idea, but may be problematic in Atlanta. Some daft Atlanta driver will crash into the bus, probably from following too closely.
Love the idea, but man, that would scare the crap out of me while I was driving! Of course I am a skittish driver :-)
Wrong account
What if the train could act as a ferry. Car driver’s could have freedom for the last mile, while not being part of traffic.
What happens when there is a wreck underneath and a car smashes into the side of the thing?
I’m quite certain it will be made of Adamantium like Wolverine’s exoskeleton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adamantium.
Here’s where I show my nerdity …
Endoskeleton.

Can we have one of these that goes around 285, cause that would be awesome!
