Not one of my brighter moments

Sometimes you look back on a decision and think, “What was I thinking?!”.  This was definitely one of those times, as I very foolishly tried to navigate my way down our snowy, hilly driveway.  Luckily I did have the foresight to get my family out of the car before trying this, but that’s hardly a consolation.  By some grace of God my tire stopped literally an inch from the edge of the cliff (probably a 15-20 foot drop).  The video and pictures don’t do this justice but they are here for your amusement.

Holy cow!!! I cannot believe how close you came to going over. Glad you are okay and that the fam was with you. Some adrenaline rush though, I bet.

Thanks PC! Now comes the fun part, trying to figure out how to get the van off the driveway…stay tuned!

Glad you’re okay. I do have a Hummer and some steel tow cable… LOL.

The video is nice but if you had an audio recording taken as you noticed the van sliding ever closer to the cliff… that would have been priceless. Good work getting the family out first though, I probably would have just tried it with them in the car to impress them.

Thanks Alan, yeah I’m pretty sure I would have made a sailor or even @ryanptuttle blush with the language I was using in those 5 seconds.
