You can’t judge a book by its cover, but you’d buy this if you could

Seriously, is there a more intriguing book title than this?!  Anyone read this?

They're turning this into a movie too! I'll be buying once I finish the 2 other series I'm currently reading.

Just got this one and haven't started it yet, but I am excited about jumping into it. As Megan mentioned it already has early film talks in the works with Burton and Bekmambetov (co-produced 9) signed on to produce the film. Bekmambetov has experience with vampire films from his Russian “Watch” trilogy where he did parts 1 and 2 NightWatch/DayWatch. I haven't heard anything about him finishing it with a third film as he got picked up in America to do Wanted and a few other projects, but I would like to see that trilogy closed at some point as the concept was different and interesting. The rumor out there is that they may do AL:VH in stop motion animation instead of live action which would be intriguing, to say the least.
