Definition: Equal Opportunity Tweeter

Equal Opportunity Tweeter [ee-kwul op-er-too-ni-tee twee-ter]

– noun

1. one (a company, person, etc.) that does not pick and choose tweeters that have high followers to respond to, typically replying and interacting with tweeters with low AND high follower counts; as opposed to only engaging with tweeters with high follower counts (i.e. “the influencers”).

Used in a sentence: “I interact with all my followers, not just the ones that are more popular.  I’m an equal opportunity tweeter.”

Full disclosure, I just made this up, but felt like jabbing the marketing people that ignore the little guys.

Long live the little guys.

    Jeff,

Like the term- going to co-opt it. I follow some very small niche folks and my niche is big with a small in its name #smallbiz…. LOL
