It’s so important to be aware of the hardships of the world. I try to understand the tragedies that my privilege allows me to avoid. But its hard, because I’m sheltered from the worst that this world brings and I’m afforded so many advantages. I could must be better about educating myself in these areas.

I do love me some Bobby Kennedy. I’m currently reading my 5th book on him, RFK, and continuing to learn new things. My favorite book on Bobby is Bobby Kennedy: The Making of a Liberal Icon by Larry Tye. I highly recommend it.
