Life is too short not to love your work!

You’re probably not an entrepreneur – most people aren’t, obviously – but you likely want to achieve greatness just the same. You want your work to have some meaning. And it should!

The one thing all entrepreneurs share, no matter what type of business they’re building, is the love for what they do. Yes, building a company can be stressful. And yes, it can be humiliating…and demoralizing…and weight-of-the-world-pressure-feeling…and super humbling…but even in spite of all that, the entrepreneur loves his/her company.

They love it because they’re putting their everything into it. They believe in this thing they’re building and, like a child, want to do everything they can to help it grow into something amazing.

If I was not an entrepreneur and had a job, I hope I would try hard to work for a company that I could really believe in. Whether it was the leadership of the company, the company’s Purpose, the work the company produced, or the team itself (or hopefully, a combination of those things,) I would hope to find a company where at least one of those things inspired me.

We are only on this planet for a short period of time, and an inordinate amount of that time is spent working. Make sure your work is something that you can be proud of and that inspires you, because life is too short not to.
