48in48‘s goal is to one day run in 48 cities, globally, on one weekend. We did two this year (Atlanta and New York) over different weekends. We have some work to do :)

Those *might* be two unattainable goals. They’re definitely lofty. But they have to be, so we have something inspiring to strive for.

Ted Turner, in his book, Call Me Ted, talks about always setting a goal that will be next to impossible to achieve. Some books call that a BHAG: Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal. I could do without the “hairy” part (gross) but you get the point.

Most people and businesses fail to set a lofty goal for themselves. Without it, you’re kind of like a ship without a rudder.
