I just finished the book Syrup…
…and it was probably the fastest I’ve ever read a book. Love the way Maxx Barry writes, and since most of you are in marketing in some way or another, you’ll probably really enjoy it.
There is a movie coming out based on it, which is what made me take a look. Check out the preview:
If you want a truly devious satire of corporate culture, read his third novel “Company” (https://www.amazon.com/Company-Vintage-Contemporaries-ebook/dp/B000OI0FMG/ref=sr_1_1). I won’t spoil the plot twist, but I guarantee you will come away wondering if it was somehow based on your former employer. I know I did.
