I’ve never done this before, but I’m writing five different blog posts all at the same time. Each are taking a lot of thought and reflection. Usually I write one at a time, focusing down and finishing it before moving to the next. I sat down this morning to pump one out but I realized that I’m not really close to finishing any one of them. They all interest me a lot and so I keep getting distracted by one, adding to it, then bouncing back to another one.
~ 10 mistakes I’ve made so you won’t have to
~ The excuses that stop you from being great
~ Something I say to people that work for me that usually pisses them off
~ Meeting Jordan in China (not Michael) and what he taught me about customer service as the killer differentiator
~ Why public speaking should be at the top of your list for 2012
Titles may change slightly but that’s the gist. The first two are actually titles of other blogs I’ve seen that I didn’t read but wanted to see where I would land if I had that topic for a post.
The third is a post that I’ve wanted to write for a while and I think someone actually quit recently because of it.
The China post is a fun one because this Jordan guy just blew us away and I even put him in our home movie from our trip to China. And the last one is advice I’ve given to some folks lately and as I thought about it, it could apply to almost everyone.
Looks like I have some work to do over the weekend…
