Wow, amazing book: Drive

Drive by Daniel Pink

Over the past weekend I read an amazing book, Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us.  It was recommended to me by my friend and childhood idol, @steve83.

You really need to read this book if you are in any way tasked with motivating people.  Motivating is probably the wrong word to use actually.  If you want to create a work environment that let’s people reach their full potential, then this is the book for you.  Rah rah speeches and <GASP> cash motivators aren’t going to get you there.

Those that have read this book, I’d love your feedback.  Those that do read it, please let me know what you think.  I’d love to get into a good discussion on some of the points in this book but I’ll let you find the time to read it first.  It’s worth it, trust me.
