Did I just have to prove to Bing that I wasn’t a computer before searching? Really?

Uh, this isn’t going to get you over the Google-hump boys.  I’ve never had to authenticate myself as a human being before using a search engine before.  And since I now plan on never going back to Bing again, I probably won’t have that problem in the future.  Jeesh.

What if their one time road block means you would get better results than you would ever receive from another search engine? Wouldn't that be worth it?

LOL, seriously? You think their algorithm might be better b/c they 1st prove I'm a human? That's their secret sauce I guess ;)

Their last sentence is the important one: they've already picked up enough usage to think you might be using an automated program to hit their engine. (You're caught, you Microsoft hater, you!)

Lots of sites/services perform this type of verification – most not even under these circumstances. What's the issue with that?
